We know you wrote it, then self-edited. Then rewrote the whole story. And edited it 3 more times. It was only then you hired a professional editor and had 3 more rounds of editing. Great! But by then, you probably know your story by heart and so does your editor. A fresh pair of eyes is absolutely essential and a proofreader can come quite handy. Not only do they cross the right T's and I's, they also provide the fresh perspective that your tired eyes need. So, before you put that book out to the world to read, hire a good proofreader and get it polished. You will thank us later!
